⭐ What is Seima?
Seima is a sacred, hand-processed fiber traditionally used in Japanese rituals for purification (*harae*).
It is made from the inner fibers of *Cannabis sativa* cultivated specifically for ceremonial use in Japan. This fiber is **non-psychoactive**, completely legal, and deeply rooted in Shinto practices as a tool to purify spaces, objects, and the self.
⭐How to Use
This broom is a tool for spiritual cleansing in daily life.
The act of "gentle stroking" (*hikimederu*) is at the heart of Shinto purification.
- Gently stroke the Seima fibers from **top to bottom** over your body to cleanse mind, body, and spirit.
- Do this **three times** as a basic ritual. For a deeper cleanse, repeat 9 times or any multiple of 3.
- It is perfectly fine to repeat the motion as often as you like—use it intuitively.
The more you use it, the more the Seima fiber naturally adapts to your hand and energy. Simply touching the broom is believed to help reset your personal energy and harmonize your vibration.
⭐Ways to Use
- Sweep gently over your head, shoulders, or body for personal purification
- Place by the entrance of your home and use it upon returning
- Keep it nearby as a spiritual talisman or energy protector
- Ward off negative energy in your space
- Use it to gently brush sacred objects or household altars (Kamidana)
- Take it with you when you travel for added protection
Even when simply displayed, the broom brings a purifying and calming energy to the space around it.
